Quorum Established Board Meeting Minutes June 26th 2019 7pm Kendigs Board members present: Phil Perkins, Cindy Corl, Tom Crowder, Julie Hathaway, Bill Wiltse, Charley Rowland Absent: Bob Metke Guest: Will Parker, Ed and Linda Edwards, Phyllis Kendig Meeting called to Order: @ 7:02 pm Guest Recognition: By President Phil Perkins Coyote Point: Will Parker spoke about the County approving his subdivision to move forward. It was being held up by a needed road agreement, which has been resolved. He is still involved in pursuing a more current agreement that Julie has been working on. Approval of Minutes: May meeting minutes approved, motion by Phil. Treasurer Report: Treasurers report approved, motion by Phil. The Board approved acquiring a debit card for online and Board approved use.
Committees: Dock: Discussion about the ramp from the platform to the docks needing maintenance and the dock surface needing some stain this year. Tom is to contact Kynsi Construction for a bid to help with lifting of the ramp for repairs. ARC: A draft of proposed ARC rule changes were presented and discussed. Thanks were given to the committee for there time and effort in the draft. It was decided, after much review, to send the draft back to committee for more work in two areas; 1. Carports 2. Greenhouses. This needs to be resubmitted to the Board fo review in 14days. Arc is to review and move forward on nay applications that mat be held up due to the new rules within 60 days. Maintenance: An estimate was presented for placing bark dust and new ground cloth in the gate area. The Board decided to take no action on the proposal, due to the contractors not being registered with the state, no one wanted to replace the river rock with bark, and it can be a fire danger. We will be looking into the cost of removing the river rock to place new ground cover then placing the river rock back. Playground: Sandbox is being built and will be placed soon. Please contain your digging to this box. Old Business: A motion was made by Charley to keep the HOA mower and only allow Board approved persons to operate it. Currently the only approved operator is Tom Crowder. Motion passed 4 yea 2 nay. The Mowing deadline was June 15th 2019, most lots have been mowed, thank you to all. Some lots haven’t been mowed, these will beidentifiend as the Board does the annual wal thru Sunday at 4pm. Many thanks to Bob Wiggins for fixing our gate, again. New Business: If you sale your home place return the dock key to the board, so it can be re-issued with the rules to the new owner. As always NO FIREWORKS are allowed in River Ranch, due to fire danger and noise.
Good of the Order: unfortunately, River Ranch HOA has lost a dedicated Board Member. Julie Hathaway has resigned her position effective immediately for personal reasons. She will continue to help with the road agreement and other areas. We thanks her very much for her service to our community, she will be missed. We would like to thank all of our volunteers that make our community better. Bill Wiltse, Phil Perkins and Tom Crowder for mowing. Scott Huber for weed eating around the dock. Bob Wiggins and Ed Edwards for working on the gate. A special thank you to all of the walkers who pick up trash as they walk to the gate and back.
